Auto insurance is a critical part of your insurance portfolio because it protects you against financial loss if you have an accident. It is a contract between you and the insurance company. You agree to pay the premium and the insurance company agrees to pay your losses as defined in your policy. Auto insurance provides coverage for property, liability and medical expenses.
It’s also a Florida law… requiring every automobile owner to have at least minimum insurance coverage.
Arista represents a wide range of Insurance companies so we can get you the best policy for your vehicle and a great rate. And if you qualify for any of our available discounts, you’ll save even more.
When we look at what insurance policy is right for you, we will talk about whether you want collision and/or comprehensive coverage, how high you want your deductible to be, what liability limits you want, and whether you want any types of optional coverage (listed in the next section).
Arista also offers specialty coverage programs for the following...

Liability coverage pays for injuries you cause to other people and damage you cause to other people's property when you are at fault in an automobile accident.
The state of Florida requires Personal Injury Protection, which is also known as No-Fault coverage. This coverage pays for things like medical and rehabilitative expenses, replacement services, and funeral expenses. It also pays for loss of income if you are injured in an auto accident and are unable to work.
Collision and Comprehensive (other than collision) coverages pay for damage to your automobile. You can purchase either or both of these coverages for each vehicle you own. If you have an auto loan you may be required to purchase both.
Collision and Comprehensive (other than collision) coverage usually includes a deductible, which can range from $100 to $1,000. If your car is damaged, the Insurance company pays only for the damage in excess of the deductible you selected. The higher the deductible, the lower your premium.
This coverage pays if you are injured by a person who is completely uninsured or doesn't have enough liability Insurance to cover your injuries. It also covers you if you are in an accident with a hit-and-run driver.
Medical Payments coverage may help pay medical expenses (up to a specified dollar limit) for you and passengers of your car who are injured in an automobile accident, no matter who is at fault. This type of coverage is optional and not required.
Optional or special coverage includes extras such as towing, rental reimbursement, and roadside assistance. None of these coverages are required to have.
Choosing the appropriate level of auto Insurance coverage depends on a number of factors, including assets you must protect (liability coverage), value of your vehicle (collision and comprehensive), the amount of money you can afford to pay out-of-pocket (deductibles), and how much risk you are willing to take on.
Our knowledgeable staff will help you understand how any of these might impact your policy and find the amount of coverage that's right for you.

Whether you rent or own, Homeowners insurance provides financial protection in the unfortunate event that your home or its contents are damaged. It also provides protection if you or a family member are held legally responsible (liable) for injuries to others or damage to their property. It's also required by most mortgage lenders.
1. Hurricane, Windstorm, Lightening or Hail Damage
2. Theft and Break-in
3. Fire or Smoke Damage
4. Water Damage (other than flood)
In the event that your home is damaged or destroyed by an event specified in your policy, this part will pay to rebuild your home including associated structures. It does not pay for damage caused by a flood or earthquake. Its important to purchase enough coverage to pay for the cost of rebuilding your home and to review this amount annually
Your clothes, furniture, and other personal belonging are typically covered in the event of damage or theft, as outlined in your policy. Though each policy is different, generally most companies provide coverage between25 and 50% of the amount of insurance for the structure of your home. By taking an inventory of your valuables, you can best decide how much coverage you may need. If high-value items such as silverware and jewelry are stolen, they are covered in your policy but only up to a certain dollar amount.
The liability portion of your policy protects you in the event that you are held responsible for damaged property or injury of someone else. It can also include damaged caused by your pets. This part of your policy also covers the cost of court fees and court awards, up to the maximum amount specified. Liability limits begin at $100,000 but many recommend around $300,000 in coverage.
While the damage to your home is being assessed and repairs or a rebuild are underway, your homeowners policy will pay additional living expenses so that you can live elsewhere during the process. Typically things like hotel bills, restaurant meals and other living expenses are covered but the exact amounts differs from company to company.
For those who rent out their properties, insurance companies may provide the option to buy additional liability coverage. This policy add-on helps to protect landlords from risks due to tenant occupation. If a tenant is injured on your property and you're found held responsible, this portion can help you pay for your legal expenses and your tenant's medical costs.
In addition to the more standard coverage, you can purchase specific, specialty coverage for possessions such as: valuable collections, fine art, camera equipment, collectibles, watercraft and musical instruments, just to name a few.
